The young male falcon went after a nearby pair of nesting gulls only to be attacked. As I was firing the camera I heard an alarm scream from the falcon and after reviewing the images I could see one the gulls was biting the falcon’s toes! You can see this in the next two images. Unfortunately these are big crops with a lot of details missing. Still fun stuff to see.
